The family of another young lady are in panic. The 25-year-old graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, identified as Omowunmi Akinwade has been declared missing after she reportedly went to visit a guy in Sagamu, Ogun State.It was gathered that Omowunmi left Ago Iwoye after her convocation ceremony at the university since on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, to visit the friend but reportedly never got to her destination.According to the guy identified simply as Paul Eto, the last time he spoke to her was when she called to tell him that she was close to Sagamu.The guy said he told her the exact junction to stop for him to come and pick her up. However, he later claimed that his phone was on silence when she called him six times.He further claimed to have returned her call but she didn't pick. Two Senior Police Officers Suspended Over Abba Kyari's Cocaine Saga
Serious actions will be taken easily, now that all have been exposed. The Police Service Commission has announced the suspension of the two police officers working under the suspended Abba Kyari in the Intelligence Response Team of the Force Investigation and Intelligence Department of the Nigeria Police Force. The suspended police officers are Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Sunday Ubua and Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP James Bawa.This was for their alleged involvement in a drug deal being investigated by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).In a statemen by the Commission’s Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, their suspension were with effect from Monday.Also, the Inspector General of Police was told to suspend Inspector Simon Agrigba and Inspector John Nuhu in accordance with the Powers of Delegation.Ani said a letter dated February 16 and signed by a retired Justice of the Supreme court, Justice Clara Ogunbiyi, and an ex-IGP, Musiliu Smith, had been sent to the IGP to intimate him of the commission’s pronouncement on the matter. >

A 28-year-old woman who accused two brothers of having unlawful carnal knowledge of her has been charged with perjury.KwaZulu-Natal police confirmed on the 16th of February that the woman who lives in Newcastle area of South Africa was in custody.She claimed that she was asleep in a house in B-Section, Osizweni, when she heard someone opening her door on the evening of 11 February.Police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala said; "She alleged that a known suspect carrying a knife entered and accused her of not paying rent. She accused the man and his brother of then r@ping her."Gwala said charges of r@pe were opened at Osizweni SAPS, and that the Newcastle Family Violence, Child Protection and S€xual Offences Unit began their investigation.The police spokesperson said; "The two brothers aged 34 and 36 were arrested. Following an intensive investigation that was conducted by the investigating officer, it was established that the complainant lied under oath. The two brothers were then released."Gwala added that a case of perjury had been opened by Osizweni police against the lady. She first appeared in court on Monday February 14 and was placed in custody ahead of the next court date.The police spokesperson added; "The 28-year-old woman was charged for perjury.
